Aluminium dross processing system ALDROS
The most economical and least polluting method to use aluminium drossThe basis of the ALDROS technology is the conservation of metal by immediate stopping of the combustion so that no gases or vapours are released.
The most striking economic advantages are:
maximum separation of liquid metal
high percentage of metal in the final productno specific operation staff requiredlow maintenance costs
short amortization period
Positive environmental aspects:no dustno smokeno bad odours
Aluminium technology as fully automatic process
Handling:The hot dross container is put onto the lifting platform of the ALDROS plant
Liquid metal is drained by opening the hole
Starting the machine produces further separation of liquid metal in a closed atmosphere
Automatic processing:In a hermetically sealed atmosphere a rotating scoop feeds portions of hot dross from the dross container into the cooling drum
In the inner tube hot dross is indirectly cooled by water circulating in the double-jacked tube
DP-plants are milling the cooled dross without intermediate handling and separate metal from oxide
The metallic products are discharged by a vibrochute
The oxide dust is sucked through pipes to the bag filter and discharged
The program stops automatically as soon as the processing is completed
ALDROS - Compact plants
In these plants the remaining dross after the draining of liquid metal is cooled and subsequently separated from the oxide in an integrated autogenous mill.
The products - coarse and fine metal fraction - can be remelted directly.
The corresponding dust filter eliminates the oxide dust from the milling drum and the flue dust at the discharge.
